In 2016, the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), in cooperation with the Economic Development Research Partners, and the Site Selectors Guild, published A New Data Standard, which was an extensive update to the 2002 IEDC Data Standards.  Based on the recommendations in the report, the City of Lacey provides an array of useful information to businesses and entrepreneurs.
